Yellow Trigger Films is finishing up Crockdale with a new sound mixer/designer, but will miss Tommy Wingo. So, we still should have Crockdale ready to roll by January next year.
As for other things, we start pre-production on a little script I wrote called, "Bad Girl" next week and filming this weekend on the Tavares Wilson feature "Exit 2". Other projects are "Deep in the Night" and "First Person Meets Third Person"...the latter being my second original feature...with a bigger budget than Crockdale (beautiful)!
Anyway, we will keep you posted on the happenings in 2011, with pics, posters and a bunch o' good stuff on "Bad Girl", and possibly even some "Deep in the Night" stuff.

CROCKDALE and the Official Trailer
Since we are rapidly approaching the finish date for our feature film Crockdale, I wanted to take the time to release an official trailer to the masses! This feature has been through alot in two and a half years, but it is finally getting the polished look it deserves, with a little help and alot of talent. So, take some time to enjoy the offical trailer for CROCKDALE:

CROCKDALE Update
Every week it seems like we get a little closer to having CROCKDALE complete. After sound design/mastering is finished on the second reel (via Tommy Wingo), our little film will be minutes away from reaching the halfway point. Coloring is complete on the first 12 minutes (as well as sound) and I'm in love with the final product...now if we can just work the same magic on the final 60+ minutes:)
Also, the official trailer for CROCKDALE is only a couple weeks away from being done, so at least everyone will have some CROCKDALE goodness to feast on in the coming weeks.
Our goal is to have CROCKDALE complete before the end of the year (most likely December), so as you can see, we're really excited! I feel that everyone else will be excited as well.

COLTRANE Music Video
Day one of the Coltrane music video has been completed! Pat Campion was awesome, and is truly a great performer and individual. Now that we have the "performance" stuff "in the can", we can gear up for the short film section of the music video. Hopefully, I will have some video samples to show in the next week or so.

YTF Website is Back!
The Yellow Trigger Films website is back, after months of being useless...damn domain! You can check it out here: http://www.yellowtriggerfilms.com
Right now, it is heavily dedicated to our feature film CROCKDALE, but we will be adding some good ol' Yellow Trigger stuff, as well.
Keep checking back!

What is happening with CROCKDALE?
I have been hearing the above question alot recently, so I wanted to be able to answer it to everyone. If Crockdale was a video game, it would be on "pause". The final edit is complete (which is more or less a directors cut), but the audio and coloring still need to be "tweaked", before it's ready for consumption. I will say, however, I'm extremely proud with the final product, considering it was my freshman foray into feature filmmaking with an insanely small budget.
With that said, I'm talking with various sound mixers/designers and will hopefully have one pinned down by mid-July. Once I find out how long this will take (or basically, how bad I f'ed up the audio), I will have a better understanding when the film will be ready.
The explanation, without going into too much detail, there were financial set-backs, schedule issues, re-shoots and technical problems that have prolonged the post production process. Things that were out of our control, but we had to end up fixing. But, with a talented cast and crew, we pulled it off like champs. So, not to fear, I'm slowly pulling us out of the dark and everyone will be able to see Crockdale before 2011. With time in-between jobs, I will have another trailer, poster (to fix a problem with the old one) and a clip before we get the feature released.
Anyway, among other things, I will post more about how the Crockdale process is coming and anything else that comes my way.

Welcome!
In the next few months, you can follow me as I journey through old art, story and film material I have created over the years. I am hoping that most people will enjoy everything I have created as much as I do, and will continue to visit and find out more.
